Booking, Arriving, Cancellation & No Show Fees

Booking

Classes at the Yoga x Life Studios can be booked in advance using either our website, or mobile booking application. In order to book a place payment is required and it is not possible for spaces to be put on hold. Classes are always subject to availability with priority given to advance bookings over ‘drop ins’. We recommend booking up to two weeks ahead to avoid any disappointment.

Arriving

The Studios will be open for access from a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the class commencing, although please see our OPENING HOURS to check our full studio and cafe opening hours. Out of consideration for other students and the teacher please allow good time to arrive. We have ample free parking right outside our front door, wheelchair (and pushchair!) access and on street parking in the surrounding area is free for up to two hours.

Studios may lock their doors from 5 minutes after the class commences and it is at the discretion of the teacher as to whether late arrivals are able to access the class. If you are aware you may be late, please contact the Yoga x Life Studios on +44 (0) 191 2305666 so that the teacher can be notified and accommodations made where possible. If arriving late to session please join on the easiest mat to get to to minimise disruption.

Upon arrival please turn off or silence all mobile phones and leave your belongings in the spaces provided during class. The Yoga x Life Studio is unable to take responsibility for any items brought onto studio premises so please avoid bringing any unecessary items onto the premesies. Read our full mat etiquette guide HERE

Any left property will be stored for a maximum of one month.

Cancellation Policy

Booked classes may be cancelled at no cost until 2 hours prior to the class commencing via the website or mobile booking application at no cost, or by contacting the Yoga x Life Studios on +44 (0) 191 2305666. Teachers cannot process cancellations. 

Booked events may be cancelled at no cost until 10 days prior to the event commencing via the website or mobile booking application at no cost, or by contacting the Yoga x Life Studios on +44 (0) 191 2305666.

In case of timely cancellation a credit for the same class type will automatically be refunded to your account with a one month expiration. If you would prefer a cash refund this will need to be requested by emailing managers@yogaxlifestudios.com.

In the case of late cancellation (within 2 hours of the start of class), or missed bookings the place will not be credited back to your account, nor refunded.

In the case of a no show which is defined as either cancellation after 5 minutes prior to class commencing, or no cancellation and non attendance, a no show fee of £3.50 will be automatically applied to your account. There is a 5 day window from the end of the missed class until the no show fee is automatically charged. We understand life gets in the way in unpredictable ways, so if you were unable to attend a session for a legitimate reason simply pop an email to managers@yogaxlifestudios.com and we will be able to waive the fee.

Please note, classes and events that are free to book may also incur variable non-attendance fees, so please cancel your space at the earliest opportunity if you are no longer able to attend.

Waiting Lists

Full classes offer a waiting list. 

If you are on the waiting list and a space becomes available two hours or more before the class commences you will automatically be upgraded to attending and payment for the space will be taken; an email will be sent confirming your space (please note automated emails may depend on your individual email and marketing preference settings so make sure you have our yogaxlifestudios.com emails whitelisted).

If you are no longer actively waiting for a place, please cancel your reservation at no cost.

After two hours prior to a class commencing no automatic bookings will occur if a class space opens up, however, you are able to book via the app and we may give you a call to let you know a spot is available.

Memberships 

Upgrades, downgrades, pauses and cancellations.

In order to make any changes to a membership an email should be sent to managers@yogaxlifestudios.com with a minimum of 3 working days notice.

In order to pause a membership we require a start and end date for the pause period. This can be amended.

Please note, purchasing a new membership will NOT automatically cancel an existing membership.

Cancelling a membership will cancel any future bookings made with the membership so if you are changing from one membership to another it may be necessary to check and remake bookings.
