Yoga Nidra, often translated as ‘Yogic Sleep’ is a guided meditation practice; carried out laying down in a relaxed and supported position. The meditation follows several stages of intention, pratyahara (inward turning) and contemplation to access insight, release, and a rebalancing that permeates the physical and energetic levels of the body.
It’s regular practice has been shown to reduce anxiety, foster resilience and awaken a calm in daily living whilst allowing the practitioner to assimilate and grow through the phases of their lives.
No prior experience of Yoga Nidra is required in order for you to begin enjoying its benefits. For the best experience come in comfortable and warm clothing. Blankets, bolsters and cushions will be made available for use however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
